Dear Hamilton Parents, Caregivers, and Community Members,
Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Alexander Hamilton Elementary School! I am honored to continue serving as principal and excited for another year filled with learning, growth, and connection.
At Hamilton, we are deeply committed to fostering a warm, inclusive, and engaging environment where every child can thrive. Our talented and passionate educators work every day to inspire curiosity, encourage kindness, and support each student’s academic, social, and emotional development.
We’re especially excited to expand on several initiatives this year. Following a successful implementation in grades K–3, we are extending our phonics instruction through the Sonday program into grades 4 and 5. This will help reinforce foundational skills and support all learners as they continue to grow as confident readers. Our enrichment schedule also continues to bring high-quality STEAM learning opportunities to all students on a rotating basis. As in past years, our weekly special area classes, Basic Skills instruction, and Gifted & Talented programs ensure there’s something meaningful and engaging for every child at Hamilton.
We are also proud to share that Alexander Hamilton Elementary was named a 2024 National Blue Ribbon School, a recognition that highlights our school's exceptional academic achievement and strong sense of community.
Family partnership is one of our greatest strengths. From the Husky Café and Science Week to the Multicultural Festival and more, the events our Home and School Association (HSA) and parent volunteers organize each year are truly what make our school special. I encourage all families to get involved and become active members of the HSA—you’ll stay informed, connected, and make a real impact.
Communication will continue to be a priority this year.
